FAQ for International Student Health Insurance
How do I renew or extend my insurance coverage?
For individual plans: If you have registered on the web site,
you may renew your international student health insurance online through
the 'Renew Online' link on the home page. You will also receive a renewal
notice prior to the expiration of your student health insurance plan
containing instructions for renewing coverage through the mail. Because
online renewals of insurance do not allow changes to certain coverage
information such as insured status (participant only, participant
& child, etc.), address, and phone number, students who need
to change this information should call International Student Health
Insurance prior to renewing.
What documentation will I receive by mail when I purchase an individual
student health insurance plan?
If you purchase an individual student health insurance plan,
you will receive your identification card within two business days of
processing your valid payment.
How do I notify you if my contact information or address changes?
Contact Customer Service through email or by calling our toll free number.
You'll need your certificate number found on your ID card.
How do I submit a claim?
Participating students can access insurance claim forms and submission
information at www.hthstudents.com . Insurance claim forms should be
completed fully, and only original bills are accepted. Printed claim
forms may be mailed to HTH Worldwide Insurance, Claims
Department, P.O. Box 39, Minneapolis, MN 55440-0039, or faxed to
877.865.5981.
How long will it take for my claim to be paid?
Our goal is to process all insurance claims within 10 business
days of receipt of the claim.

My medical claim was denied. Is there a grievance procedure?
Within 60 days of receipt of your denied claim, you may request,
in writing, a review of any denied claim. All requests for review must
specify why you believe the denial was made in error. Whenever possible,
requests should attach supporting documentation (for example, medical
bills and/or correspondence.) Send correspondence to: HTH Worldwide
